The North Texas Amateur Baseball League (NTABL), in partnership with the Frisco Roughriders and Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS), will hold their Annual Charity All Star games at Dr Pepper Ballpark on Sunday August 17, 2014.

Last year’s event netted over $15,000 in support of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC).

The “kid-friendly” event features three games featuring the area’s best amateur baseball players from ages 18 and older beginning at 9AM and running throughout the day.   The games are complete with player introductions, national anthems, mid-game “God Bless America” renditions and ceremonial first pitch thrown out by a TSRHC patient.  There will also be a Home Run Derby.  First Pitch Kid

Monies raised from donations, suite sales, the Home Run Derby and other fund-raising activities, will benefit TSRHC. Suggested donation is $15 at the gate or donations and suite reservations can be made online at

The day will begin with the 35+ “Veterans” and 45+ “Masters” Division All Star Game, followed by the 18+ Open American All Star Game.  Up next is the Home Run Derby.  Last year’s winner punctuated his victory with a titanic blast into the street!  The grand finale will feature the best players in North Texas competing for bragging rights in the 18+ Open National All Star Game.

The NTABL asks and encourages all of its members and fans to share this event with their friends via email, text messaging and all forms of social media.  Please help us make this years event the biggest so far!
